Day 23
30 Jul 2016
We started to leave the Bonnie
Brae Campground in Pittsfield, Mass. at 9:30 am, planning to backtrack
to the Norman Rockwell museum and get there at 10:00 am when they opened. |
Spend 2 hours or so and then get
back on the road to the next stop at Limehurst Lake Campground, VT.
As it happens we were about an hour late leaving because I got stuck trying to tow the 5th wheel around a corner that was too tight. |
The Trees just weren't willing to
move. With Gary's and Candy's help I had to back out of the corner and
back up the road turning a different way to get out. I tried to stop at the office and get my $4.00 fee back because the a/c did not work on their |
We are pretty sure we will never
go back to that campground.
|
We made it to the Norman Rockwell
museum at about 11:00 am and spent 1 hr. 45 min in the museum and
a quick 15 min lunch before leaving at 1:00 pm. Drove North on Hwy 7 and Arrived at Limehurst Lake Campground at 5:25 pm. |
