| Drove on the “Blue Ridge Parkway” today for about 80 miles. Got off on Hwy 80 and it was very tight and windy. And it started raining too! Gary’s Trailer was damaged when he met another trailer at a sharp curve and it was too tight for both. Made it to Hwy 70 and then to I-40 West. We stopped at the Biltmore Estate and took a self-guided tour of the mansion. It was built by George W. Vanderbilt in 1895. Then we drove to the Ashville, NC. KOA RV Park. We combined our menus and had dinner together. Called and wished Alice Happy Birthday. |
